Was having severe neck pain for over a year that sent me to the ER recently. ER doctor did a CT of the brain and loaded me up with a lot of IV pain medication which helped a little. They discharged me to follow up with my PCP. PCP ordered an MRI of my neck. Unfortunately, my insurance denied me. I contacted Med Care Outreach. They educated me how to handle next steps. At 70 years old I was having constant significant headaches and arm pain. My neurologist was concerned for stroke and ordered a Brain MRI.
